Eco jobs in Peterlee

Peterlee is set to be part of a new generation of Eco-stores after Tesco announced plans for a new supermarket creating 400 new jobs.

A public exhibition will be held this week to showcase plans for a new multi-million pound complex, which will also house a new library for the community.

Tesco’s corporate affairs manager, Doug Wilson, said: “We are delighted to announce details of proposals for Peterlee which will create hundreds of new jobs and boost the local economy.
