Businesses help One Green Paper Clip Challenge

Students from Newcastle College's School of Business and Care recently raised £500 for the Mosaic appeal, part of Barnardo's Children's Charity.

Starting with just one green paper clip, the idea behind the challenge was to undertake a series of swaps, receiving higher value items with each swap. As part of the project the students visited local businesses asking for swaps or donations and managed to secure vouchers from TGI Friday, Collectables and John Lewis as well as several items of jewellery and toys.
