The bgroup 'Communiqué' Their New Identity

It featured a lively debate about the merits and directions of various communications; it featured six superb speakers from a range of leading North East companies, and it featured the launch of The bgroup - the new name for bmarketing... it was, of course, Communiqué.

Speaking at the event were: Galaxy Radio's MD, Martyn Healy; Paul Jobling, Marketing Director at Eutechnyx; Gill Gilthorpe of Robert Muckle law firm; Paul Campbell, founder of The Amazing Group; Sarah Booth, Sales and marketing manager at Tiger Tiger and our own creative director, Diane Gates. To kick off proceedings the six speakers 'pitched' their specialist areas of marketing, design, broadcasting, digital media, PR and events before the discussion was opened up to the floor to debate various issues including measuring the success of campaigns across a range of media; communicating effectively and innovatively within an organisation, and the merits of film as a corporate communication vehicle.

After the debate, The bgroup was formally unveiled with a presentation by directors Siobhan and Diane followed by a post-launch party in Tiger Tiger's loft bar. Siobhan said: "It's been a fantastic event and we are really looking forward to the future as the group's six specialist divisions develop and grow - eventually becoming businesses in their own right!"
