My client is looking for a mobile business development manager to drive growth through existing and new partnerships with  mobile game developers. The right candidate will be responsible for developing active sales funnels for new game developers who want to increase exposure of their gaming portfolio on mobile platforms.

Key Duties                                                               

  • Build and maintain relationships with mobile game (and application) developers
  • Research potential prospects, initiate meetings and follow through to close deals with European, U.S.- and Asia-based game developers
  • Ensure personal sales forecasts and long term goals are achieved
  • Plan account activities and build up a very strong relationship with game developers to maximize revenue-generating opportunities
  • Formulate and sustain product and promotional business plans for key game developers
  • Maintain high levels of awareness of market and competitor activity, and customer trends
  • Implement revenue-generating initiatives with game developers and manage their requirements
  • Contract negotiation and management

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor / University working and thinking level

  • Minimum of five years commercial/sales experience in the online games industry, experience within the MMO sector preferred
  • Should have strong knowledge of the European, U.S. and Asian game developer industry and key players
  • Proven experience of driving new business development opportunities from initiation through closure
  • Must have the desire to grow with our company and thrives in a start-up environment
  • Must be able to meet opportunities and take on challenges with enthusiasm
  • Must be an excellent communicator through various channels i.e. telephone, face to face, email, etc. and a competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a team environment and responsibly in a fast growing organization
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to analyze results and optimize performance of duties
  • Able to listen to and implement constructive feedback
