Bring Your Christmas Party To Life...

The annual open-air ice rink at Newcastle's Life Science Centre opens Saturday, 13th December, and will run until 23 January 2005. Both accomplished and novice skaters are all welcome and non-skating visitors will be able to enjoy the whole experience from a specially built heated and covered viewing area.

Skating@Life is also offering Christmas celebrations with an alternative edge - whether it's an office Christmas party, an evening with friends or an organised group visit, the evening Party on Ice package is specially designed to offer groups of all ages a thrilling festive celebration.

The party evenings start with a ride on the 3D Motion Simulator Ride, followed by a hot and tasty BBQ-style buffet served in the warmth of the Science Centre and then its time to lace up your boots for a session on the open air ice rink surrounded by the ultimate party atmosphere and disco music. A fully licensed bar service is also be available for groups of 18 years and over.
