Date 11 Aug 2006
Tyne and Wear Development Company

But it's not just major corporations and inward investors that the agency supports. It also helps local businesses looking to invest and grow as well as start-up companies looking to get off the ground.

Tyne and Wear Development Company was able to help the fledgling audio-visual firm move to bigger premises as part of its plans for growth. The move to 3,000 sq ft premises in Gateshead doubled the size of the company's workspace and is helping to pave the way for turnover to rise from £1.5 million to £5 million by 2008.
