UK's shortest yellow line

The shortest yellow line in the UK has reportedly been found in Highbury in North London. The 18-inch single yellow line is just large enough for one wheel, reports the BBC. Islington council say that no ticket has ever been issued on the line, but local resident Elly Lishman believes that it is only a matter of time: "It wouldn't surprise me if someone got a parking ticket if they strayed on to the line." An image of the line, and clarification of its function, is available on the BBC website
